KOGI TRIBUNAL: More witnesses admit issues of over-voting in Kogi Central.

At the resumed hearing today 1st April 2024 at the Kogi State Governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja, witnesses from the disputed LGA of Kogi Central continue to expose APC and its Candidate, Alh. Usman Ododo as the issues of over-voting take center stage in today’s hearing.


All the witness at the tribunal fully admitted that there was an election but the results declared at their polling unit were not the actual votes cast.


According to the 1st to the last witness which stands at number 4 of today’s proceeding, it has been established that the results announced are more than PVC collected and accreditation of voters in the area.
It will interest you to recall that the candidate of the Social Democratic Party ( SDP) Alh.Murtala Yakubu Ajaka is challenging the Declaration of the All Progressive Congress Candidate, Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo on the issues of overvoting in the disputed LGAs in Kogi Central, none qualifications among other grounds raised to buttress his case.


As of today, not less than 4 witnesses have done justice to the petition in line with the expectation of the petitioner as interesting days lay ahead as the petitioner has less than 8 to 9 days to close his case.
The case has been adjourned to 2nd April 2024 for the continuation of the hearing.
