Osun, Ekiti resolve to explore peace option in boundary dispute resolution

The Osun and Ekiti State governments have resolved to jointly toe the peace path in resolving the lingering boundary dispute between both states.

Both states emphasised the significance of dialogue and peaceful negotiation as lasting solutions in settling any discrepancy in boundary matters.

They arrived at the agreement on Thursday during a courtesy visit by Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Monisade Afuye to Osun State.

Welcoming the visiting Ekiti Deputy Governor, Monisade Afuye, the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, represented by his Deputy, Kola Adewusi appreciated the Ekiti State Government for taking a peaceful step to resolve the boundary dispute between the two states.

According to Adeleke, “We appeal to all the technocrats involved in the matter to do justice in their quest on a fact-finding mission.”
