Tottenham Hotspur striker, Son Heung-min, has credited Manchester City goalkeeper, Stefano Ortega, for making a good save to deny him in a midweek Premier League clash.
Son had the chance to make it 1-1 late in the game but hit the ball straight at Ortega.
The striker has now apologized for the miss, which could yet prove to be the defining moment in the title race.
It was just as damaging for Spurs, who saw their hopes of Champions League qualification end, following a fifth defeat in six games.
“I’m also human. The keeper made a really good decision and made himself really big.
“But I take the responsibility not to score that big chance for the team, because the team was working really hard and trying to get a good result,” Son told the Evening Standard.
