Bandits attack Niger State communities, kill one, abduct two others

On Sunday, bandits launched an attack on Kuchini in the Ihuru community of Shiroro Local Government Area in Niger State, resulting in the death of a man named Isiyaku.

According to local sources, Isiyaku was killed while working on his farm in Kuchini.

In a related incident, two other individuals were kidnapped in Guyi Kushaku village, Galadima ward, also within Shiroro Local Government Area.

The abductions have heightened fears among residents who are already alarmed by the increasing violence in the region.

When contacted for comments on the incidents, Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesperson for the state police command, promised to provide more information but had yet to do so at the time of filing this report.

Residents of the affected communities have called for immediate action from authorities to address the escalating security concerns and ensure the protection of lives and property.
