Senator Sunday Karimi Applauds President Tinubu’s Approval of North Central Development Commission Bill


Senator Sunday Karimi of Kogi West has expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the North Central Development Commission Bill into law. This significant move aims to establish a federal government intervention agency dedicated to revitalizing the deteriorating infrastructure in the North Central States.

In his remarks, Karimi emphasized that the commission will play a crucial role in addressing the infrastructural challenges exacerbated by conflicts involving Fulani herders and farmers, among other issues. He stated, “The President has signed the North Central Development Commission Bill into law, and it is clear that this commission will assist in the development of our region.”

Karimi praised President Tinubu for his commitment to the North Central region, asserting that initiatives benefiting this area ultimately contribute to the nation as a whole. “Mr. President has demonstrated his love for the people of North Central.
