A Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP ) chieftain in Kubwa, Malam Muhammed Otesi, has called on the people of Bwari Local Government Council to support the aspirations of Mr Julius Adamu as chairman in the February 21 elections for the overall development of the area.
Mr Muhammed, who made the call in a statement released to newsmen, said given the qualities of the candidate, he stands tall among the other candidates for the position of chairman in the election.
He said Mr Adamu’s antecedents as former councillor and council leader in the area, has equipped him with the requisite experience to put the council area on a higher pedestal of development if given the opportunity.
The party chieftain described the candidate, who also holds the title of Dan Maseni of Katampe, as a tested politician who will never disappoint the people in terms of providing democratic dividends to both young and older people.
He noted that the achievements of Mr Adamu in his former position aptly position him as someone who can be trusted.
Muhammed said if past records were considered, no other candidate will come close to him in the council election.
He advised people of the area to shun moneybags who are just interested in reaping the resources of the council for personal aggrandisement and go for Mr Adamu, who has the interest of the people and development of the area at the topmost of his mind.
He also called on the election umpire, INEC, to ensure a fair and peaceful election that will produce a candidate acceptable to the electorate.”
