PDP swears in new BoT members today

In a move to reposition the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of 2027 general elections, the party will be swearing in new members of its Board of Trustees (BoT).

This was contained in a notice on Sunday night in Abuja by the party’s Director of Publicity,  Pastor Chinwe Nnorom.

The BoT of the party had remained somewhat stagnant since 2015 with lots of members staying beyond the five-year tenure prescribed  by the party’s constitution.

Several members like former Minister, Kema Chikwe have completely retired from politics while few others are either dead or now in the ruling APC.
