Governor Umaru Bago has commissioned a state‑of‑the‑art, pharma-grade Central Medical Store for Niger State.
The new facility is designed to improve drug quality, minimise wastage and strengthen the healthcare supply chain, ensuring lifesaving medicines reach clinics and hospitals safely and efficiently across the state.
Equipped to store medicines, vaccines and other medical supplies to international standards, the centre will support immunisation programmes, emergency response and routine health services while reducing stock losses caused by improper storage and handling.
