Urunyllugani village stands still as Udunnis’ bury father

Urunyllugani village, Ifiteani, Nino Njikoka LGA of Anambra State was agog recently as members of the Udunni family were accompanied by priests, friends, colleagues and associates, celebrating the glorious passage of their late father Pa Peter Nwafor Udunni aka Okute de Legend, in a simple grand style from Tuesday, April 2 to Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Nimo, Anambra State.

Guests and other dignitaries from all works of life, including the townsmen of the late Pa Nwafor Udunni, were treated to a rich Igbo culture of hospitality including traditional dance forms, choice local and international cuisine for the Two-day duration of the burial ceremony.

Even in death, it could be said that Pa Peter Nwafor Udunni aka de legend, touched many lives as the burial provided a unique opportunity for community support and charity work by his children.

The burial ceremony was preceeded by a Requiem Mass held at his compound in Urunyiliugani village.

For the Urunyiliugani, the burial of Pa Peter Nwafor Udunni is one that will be remembered for years to come
