Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke’s phone number has been hacked.
The Osun government made the public announcement on Tuesday, in a statement signed by the governor’s spokesman, Olawale Rasheed.
In an urgent public alert, Olawale urged the members of the public to ignore any communications from the compromised number which has been hacked.
“Please disregard any solicitation from +234 803 365 7555. Appropriate action is ongoing to remedy the situation.
“Authorities are investigating the breach and working diligently to secure the Governor’s communication lines.
“The public is urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities. Further update will be provided as the situation develops.”
